Hailing from a family-owned pottery in northern Thailand, this pea-green, large-scale, decorative pot features a traditional Thai Lotus flower or ‘Bua’ design. In fact there is a hazy, faded quality to the pattern, a feature of it being a hand-made item, which adds a charm and uniqueness all of its own.
We’d display this and similar giant Thai pots, redolent with eclectic, global heritage, in a sleek cutting edge kitchen in say black, white and wood – the kind that Boffi or Poliform design and sell. If your budget won’t stretch, try Habitat or Wren for similar inspiration – not that we’re suggesting for a moment that you should buy a kitchen to go with our pot. Just bouncing around styling ideas!
Contrasting heritage and modern in a carefully curated manner is a style solution that always feels fresh, directional and timeless.
The pot measures approximately 44cm tall x 25cm diameter.
