Japan-born and London-educated, Keiko Yanagisawa takes her inspiration from nature, especially flowers indigenous to both her home country and abroad. One of a limited edition of fifty signed and numbered by the artist and printed on Beaux-Arts 320g 100% cotton paper, this glorious Giclée print will a bring a little of the Japanese cultural aesthetic to your home. Keiko’s endlessly pretty and often traditional Japanese colour palettes combined with the incredible detail and fragility of her pen drawings are mesmerising.
All artworks pop against darker hues – think art gallery walls – so we hung the print against this subtly textured charcoal grey wallpaper (Harlequin‘s ‘Raya’) to achieve the same effect. We framed the print with a slim, gloss, metal frame in a toning shade of blue (to reference Oriental lacquer finishes) and teamed this with a white mount. Japanese heritage with a decidedly modern vibe.
The print comes unframed – delivered in a protective roll – ready for you to take to your local framer. The print itself is A2 and measures 42cm x 59.4cm.
