The Product: Pink and grey ikat cushions in luxury hand-woven silk
Pink and grey ikat cushions with sophisticated black accents. Perfect for a stylish, contemporary bedroom scheme. Equally at home on a chaise or favourite armchair. The Lowdown
Striking, silk ikat cushions from the Rosanna Lonsdale range are crafted from hand-dyed fabric that is woven in Uzbekistan to ancient textile designs. Cushions are then made up in London by hand. The decorative silk front (with cotton woven in for strength) is backed in plain, grey cotton and trimmed with black velvet piping.
The pattern runs horizontally on rectangular cushions, while the pattern may run vertically or horizontally on the square cushions depending on the design. Square cushions include a discreet seam (due to the limited width of the traditional looms upon which the fabric is woven).
Pattern placement varies from cushion to cushion – this is the eclectic nature and charm of ikat fabrics. In fact, ikat patterns were traditionally used together to create an exotic, vibrant display, rich in colour and pattern. If you wish to purchase two cushions to sit specifically as a pair (for a sofa or bed for example), please note ‘PAIR’ in the notes section on the checkout page. We will then ensure they sit beautifully as such.

The Detail
Square cushions measure 50cm x 50cm. Rectangular cushions measure 40cm x 60cm. Both come with luxury, curled, white duck feather cushion pads with a 100% cotton cover. Cushion covers are dry clean only. Keep away from direct sunlight as colours may fade.
